About Nine Elms and the US Embassy
Nine Elms, on the south bank between Vauxhall and Battersea, was one of London’s largest regeneration areas of the 2010s. The cube-shaped US Embassy opened here in 2018, and Embassy Gardens is known for its Sky Pool, a transparent pool spanning two buildings for residents. The Northern line extension, with new stations at Nine Elms and Battersea Power Station, opened in 2021.
