Prime neighbourhoods
-
Exclusive and ultra-prestigious
Dedinje
Belgrade’s most prestigious address: a green hill of large private villas, embassies and quiet, tree-lined streets above Topčider Park. It is home to the Royal Compound with the Royal Palace and the White Palace, and close to the Museum of Yugoslavia and Tito’s House of Flowers. Traditionally the district of diplomats, politicians and the city’s wealthiest residents.
-
Old-money calm
Senjak
Dedinje’s quieter neighbour, on the slopes above the Sava: interwar villas, leafy streets and views over New Belgrade, with the Museum of African Art in its streets.
-
Ultra-modern and high-end
Belgrade Waterfront district
A master-planned district on the Sava with luxury apartment towers, including the 168-metre Belgrade Tower, designer boutiques, riverside restaurants, The St. Regis, the Sava Promenade and the Galerija shopping centre.

-
Sophisticated and cultured
Vračar
One of Belgrade’s most desirable places to live, around the Temple of Saint Sava: grand 19th and early 20th-century buildings, quiet tree-lined streets, the Kalenić market, speciality coffee and some of the city’s best restaurants, all within walking distance of the centre.

-
Trendy, artsy and chic
Dorćol
Right next to Kalemegdan and the Danube, Dorćol is famous for Strahinjića Bana’s cocktail bars, speciality cafés, design studios and new apartment buildings among older streets. Marina Dorćol is bringing a new riverside quarter to its Danube bank.
-
Modern and practical
New Belgrade
The city across the Sava, built after 1948: wide boulevards, the famous modernist blocks, Ušće Park, big shopping centres, office towers and the river clubs. Many international companies are based here, and new residential complexes keep rising.
-
Charming and relaxed
Zemun
The old Habsburg town on the Danube, with cobbled lanes, houses and low-rise streets around Gardoš, the riverside quay and a slower pace, twenty minutes from the centre.
