About Bosque de Chapultepec: the restoration
The Pro Bosque de Chapultepec trust has spent 21 years restoring the city’s great forest, with more than 55 improvements in its First and Second Sections and some 54,000 volunteers. Under way now: the orchid house in the Botanical Garden, the historic building of the site museum and visitor centre, and a centre in the Second Section that grows plants and makes compost for the forest’s care.
