About ALEXANDER

ALEXANDER, named after Alexander von Humboldt, is Ralf Schmitz’s apartment house on Emser Strasse in Wilmersdorf, by Sebastian Treese Architekten, near Ludwigkirchplatz and the Kurfürstendamm. Its courtyard holds the Jardin Botanique, a private garden with a water feature and tree ferns. Interiors bring oak parquet, hand-drawn stucco and natural stone bathrooms. The building is complete; homes come up as resales.
